Outdoor facilities include sports fields, full size basketball court and an undercover area for sports (basketball, badminton, etc.).
Extra-curricular activities
A wide range of after-school activities are offered each term. Activities range from arts and crafts and performing arts to a variety of sports and games with a more academic orientation. Each term a variety of activities are offered for each age group.
All high school students have the opportunity to go on overnight camps. These camps involve challenging physical and team building activities as well as opportunities to study subject material on a more practical basis, for example Geography. These are led by qualified and experienced teaching staff.
Community Care and Responsibility
As Dyatmika has grown from a small to medium-size school, it has retained its atmosphere of acceptance and caring, which means students develop confidence and a feeling of belonging. Activities are organised for families and parents are involved in many aspects of the school. Whole-school activities throughout the school year involve students from pre-school to year 12 in multi-age 'house' groupings. These are designed to be fun and build on the warm family atmosphere throughout the school.
Senior high school students are involved in year long community service projects both in and out of the school.
Environmental awareness
Awareness of environmental issues is central to the ethos of Dyatmika School. Each class in the whole school studies the environment as part of the curriculum, the school recycles and reuses much of the rubbish produced and annually we hold an 'Environment Day' and take part in the 'Clean up Bali' project.
