The same enrolment form applies to all ages. Please be sure to carefully fill in all sections, the information about your child is very important to us. Please also ensure that you have signed the application form agreeing to the conditions of enrolment. It is also essential that full disclosure be made at the time of application. It is particularly important that complete and accurate information be provided regarding:

If it subsequently becomes apparent that any information has been withheld, or falsified, it may lead to the immediate exclusion of the child from the school without refund of fees or deposits.

Submission of the Application Form
Application Forms may be submitted in person, in the top office, by post or electronically. If submitted electronically, the original form must follow within 14 days.
Once the school has received the completed application form plus all required supporting documentation and the application form fee then the application will be dated as at the date of receipt which will then determine its place upon the Application List for the class, subject to the school’s policy with respect to priority placements. Please note that an applicant will not be considered for a place until the application is complete.

Following submission of an application the school’s Enrolment Officer will acknowledge receipt of your child’s application and also be your point of contact during the admissions process, please feel free to contact him or her at any time regarding your application.

If a place is available the Enrolment Officer will contact you to arrange for an interview of both parents with the principal/s for the section of the school in which you are applying. Your child will be invited to come into the school for screening tests. This is to establish the suitability of your child in the class vis a vis their capabilities to date. In the youngest grades it is simply to establish that your child can adapt to a classroom setting.

Places will be offered commencing in January for the July entry at the beginning of the academic year and, subject to the approval of the principals, as vacancies arise during the academic year. After the above steps are processed then the school will issue a letter of acceptance. To guarantee your child’s place in a class this letter needs to be signed and returned to the school within a specified time. If the school does not receive it within the time given the place may be offered to the next applicant on the list.

If a place is not immediately available, the officer will advise you as to the status of your child on the classes’ waitlist. Applications may be deferred once however any subsequent deferrals will result in a new date of application being assigned to the application. When a place becomes available, or comes close to being available, the Enrolment Officer will contact you to request updated reports. The Officer will specify a time by which the reports must be submitted. Failure to respond or to submit the reports by the specified date may result in the application being passed over for that place in the class. It is therefore vital that you keep the Enrolment Officer informed of any changes to your contact details. If the Officer is not able to make contact after several attempts, the place will be offered to the next applicant on the waiting list.

An application may be withdrawn by email addressed to the Enrolment Officer. The Enrolment Officer will acknowledge the withdrawal by return email.
