The Founders of Dyatmika and the Dyatmika Sekar Bawana Foundation, a legally recognised Yayasan here in Indonesia, have appointed two governing bodies. The first is the Yayasan Board, which oversees all aspects of the Foundation’s activities, and the second is the Whole School Executive Committee, which oversees the various activities of Dyatmika School.
The Yayasan Board consists of the founders, volunteer parents and volunteer members of the Balinese business community. The Director and Business Manager attend Yayasan meetings as non-voting members and act as a liaison between the Yayasan and the Whole School Executive.
The Yayasan’s role is to ensure that the vision and mission of the Foundation is adhered to and that sound and transparent business and fiscal policies are being followed by the Whole School Executive.
The Whole School Executive Committee is made up of senior teachers and educational administrators. Their role is to oversee the effective running of the school on a day-to-day basis and to ensure that the school’s values are nurtured through the curriculum and other activities of the school. They are also responsible for the smooth running of the bilingual academic programme for all classes and professional development for teachers and student teachers.
